Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Masses

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be celebrated on Friday, August 15, 2025, and it is a holy day of obligation. On August 15 at the Basilica, we will have an English Mass at 7am; a sung English Mass at 12pm; a spoken English Mass at 5:30pm, and a Spanish Mass at 7pm.

If none of the Basilica's Mass times suits you, please check the Mass schedules of other parishes near you for other options on August 15 or the evening of August 14. (Note that a Vigil Mass on August 14 would also satisfy the obligation to attend Mass on the holy day.)
