We're exploring bringing Regina Caeli Academy to our area. Regina Caeli is a faithful, classical, Catholic school for PreK-12th grade. Students spend two days a week on campus with trained tutors. The other three days they learn at home. Graduates earn an accredited, college-preparatory diploma. We need to hear from enough interested families to bring RCA to Chattanooga.

Registration is open for our OCIA programs for Becoming Catholic, as well as Religious Education for preK through 12th grade; Youth Group for 6th through 12th grade; and Youth Schola for 2nd grade and up. VOLUNTEERS are needed in these programs in various roles. Click for more info.

Since we started the Vocations Ministry this year, we have been blessed with over two dozen nominees and inquirers. The Basilica is seeking a Vocations Ministry Coordinator to assist Fr. Alex Hernandez with this ministry. Click here to learn about the responsibilities.

The Men's Discernment Group is for men who are interested in discerning if God is calling them to the priesthood. We are now undergoing year-round audits of our Safe Environment compliance. All adults age 18 and up must be certified under the Safe Haven program at CMGconnect.org in order to volunteer or work in any capacity within the Diocese of Knoxville. The training takes about 90 minutes, and the training and background check must be renewed every 5 years. Please make sure your certification is current at CMGconnect.org. The Seven Sisters Apostolate is a call to strengthen the Church by ensuring that a Holy Hour is prayed each day of the week for the sole intention of a specific priest or bishop—a “holy wasting” (cf. Mt. 26:10) or lavishing of prayer for his deeper conformity to Christ. We are looking for more women to join us to cover all our priests in prayer. We are recruiting adult parishioners to join the Sacristan Ministry to set up the sanctuary for Mass. Step-by-step training will be provided. Click for details.

We are asking for all families to take care of our Lorelei's Library in the hallway supervising your children, putting the books back in order, and returning checked-out books within three weeks. If you have lost a book, please replace it. Donations and volunteer help are welcome. Thanks for these efforts so that everyone can enjoy the treasured books.
