The Diocese of Knoxville will be hosting a Vocation Ministry Workshop on Sat., Sept. 20, from 9am-3pm at All Saints Catholic Church in Knoxville. It will include Mass with Bishop Beckman, a provided lunch, and a full day of dynamic, practical tools to help inspire and grow vocation awareness in each parish. Fr. Carter is would like to establish a Vocations Ministry at the Basilica, and he wants to send several representatives to this workshop. The Basilica Blanket Club for pro-life crochet/knitting/quilting will hold its fall meeting on Sat., Sept. 27 at 12:30pm in Varallo Parish Hall. Most of our meetings are open to non-members, and those who would like to learn or participate but aren't yet members, but this one will be a craft swap/free sale event for club members only.

We will have Adoration with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on First Friday following the 12pm Mass until 5:30pm, and through the night from 9pm to 7am, hosted by our Hispanic community.

The Basilica Motherhood Ministry is hosting a fall retreat reflecting on Mary as our guide in motherhood, Sat., Oct. 4, 8am-12pm in Varallo Parish Hall, The morning will include Mass, talks, small groups, and fellowship.
