Due to life changes our Troopmaster needs to step back. We are in need of a volunteer Troopmaster.
The Troopmaster is the "face" of the troop. The Troopmaster organizes the troop leaders and oversees troop meetings. This is one of the more hands-on positions, but also includes a commitment to planning troop meetings and attending Troop Committee meetings. Previous outdoor experience, whether in a formal capacity or simply as a hobbyist, is encouraged for this position.
We are looking for 3-5 men to volunteer as registered adults to meet our child:leader ratios. No experience required. Volunteers need only commit to attending most meetings and to be registered with Trail Life and the Diocese as volunteers.
Children must be accompanied by a PARENT or ADULT guardian at all times while on the Basilica campus. This includes every visit to the restroom, the nursery, the parking lot, the sidewalk, and even walking to class and leaving class. Read policy here.
Adult volunteers must be certified under the Diocese's Safe Haven program.
