During the month of May, our Community Outreach Ministry is supporting the Catholic Charities Pregnancy Help Center, to honor all mothers. You can help by donating diapers & wipes; by donating financially to the Baby Bottle Drive from May 16th – 24th -- or online; and by volunteering to mentor new moms/dads one hour a week or more. Our annual May Crowning will be on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10, between the morning Masses at 10:30am, with a procession, prayers, and music to honor the Blessed Mother. Please bring flowers for the procession. All mothers will receive a special Mother's Day blessing at Masses on May 9 & 10
Those who have made a consecration to Mary using 33 Days to Morning Glory, True Devotion to Mary, or another Marian Consecration preparation will have the opportunity to make their yearly renewal on Friday, May 15 after the 12pm Mass. We will assemble near the Mary statue after Mass. The consecration prayer we will recite will be distributed before we begin. Please contact the parish office with any questions.

On Sunday, May 17, at 10:30 am, the rite for the Blessing and Enrollment in the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will be offered in the Basilica. Participants will need a Brown Scapular and should prepare by reading about the devotion and the Order of Carmel prior to enrolling. Click for more info
Our kind next-door neighbors and fellow parishioners at Cumberland Title (the Carnegie Building to the east of the Basilica) will be re-paving their upper parking lot, and it will be closed May 23 & 24. The Basilica's Gloria Dei Schola will offer a concert Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 5pm, featuring Allegri’s Miserere Mei, Deus, Graziani’s Missa Brevis, and instrumental and vocal solos performed by the Basilica’s musicians. Admission is free. Donations are welcome. Light reception to follow.
