We encourage everyone to always think about the poor and pick up extra items at the grocery store to help.
The Basilica’s Perpetual Food Drive will benefit
LADIES OF CHARITY from Feb. 16 - March 8.
Ladies of Charity needs:
To-go food items such as fruit cups, cans with a pull top, and other non-perishable foods that people without a kitchen could eat picnic-style.
Please bring only the above non-perishable, non-expired food items to the wooden cabinet in the Basilica vestibule.LENT VOLUNTEER SHIFTS AT THRIFT SHOP
The Basilica's Forever Young Catholics ministry is scheduling 5-person teams from the Basilica on Thursday 10am-1pm, Friday 10am-1pm, and Saturday 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm each week during Lent. You may volunteer for as few or as many as you would like, but each shift is limited to 5 people.To sign up, email Bob Mikulka at [email protected] with the dates & shifts you would like to volunteer for in order of preference. Bob will confirm your signup.Please consult the schedule for your assigned time slot(s) and do NOT just show up at the Ladies of Charity.

- Donate money/goods directly to Ladies of Charity
- Volunteer at store or provide sandwiches on a scheduled day
