Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul, 135th Anniversary, and Confirmation

The Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul is Sunday, June 29, 2025, and it is also the 135th anniversary of the dedication of our church building. We are pleased to be able to celebrate our patron feast day at all our Masses June 28 & 29. Bishop Beckman is also coming to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation at the 9:00 English and 1:30 Spanish Masses on June 29.

There is an opportunity for a plenary indulgence for visiting the Basilica on the Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul. 

A plenary indulgence, under the usual conditions of sacramental Confession, Eucharistic Communion, prayers offered for the intentions of the Holy Father, and detachment from sin, is granted to the faithful who visit the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul on May 3, June 29*, September 8, October 22, or on one day of their choice during the year. 

*This indulgence also extends to our weekend celebration, when the feast is transferred.
