St. Veronica Ministry for Girls - Lent Meeting March 7

Girls ages 4th grade through high school are invited to join our new St. Veronica Ministry, to learn about the things used during the liturgy and assist the ladies of our St. Martha Altar Ministry. St. Veronica served the Lord, and we invite girls of the parish to serve the Lord in our church.

The St. Veronica Ministry will meet seasonally through the liturgical year, meeting dates TBA.

Our Lent meeting will be Sat. March 7, 2026 from 3-5pm in Varallo Parish Hall, to learn sewing and ironing. 

Our Advent meeting was Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 3pm to 5pm in the Basilica, to prepare for Christmas. We learned all about the names of the places, the objects, and the appointments of the sanctuary. Then we will finish putting up the Nativity set, do some polishing (baptismal font, candle holders), and start on linens (ironing). The goal is to become familiar with everything needed for the liturgy and the care of the church.
